TERMS & CONDITIONS - SABOR FEST

1. General Information

These Terms & Conditions govern participation in SABOR FEST events, workshops and activities, as well as the use of the official SABOR FEST website.

By accessing the website, registering for workshops or participating in festival activities, users agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Festival Participation

SABOR FEST is an open cultural festival featuring music, workshops, food, markets and community activities.

Most festival activities are free of charge unless otherwise stated. Selected workshops or special events may require prior registration and paid access.

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, artists, organisers, staff and venue personnel.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants in cases of:

  • aggressive or disruptive behaviour,
  • harassment,
  • dangerous conduct,
  • excessive intoxication,
  • violation of festival rules or applicable law.

3. Workshops and Ticketed Events

Certain workshops and special events may require advance registration and payment.

Workshop participants:

  • join voluntarily,
  • are responsible for their own health and physical condition,
  • should inform organisers of any relevant limitations or concerns before participation.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • ticket cancellations requested by participants may be refunded up to 90% of the original value in order to cover processing and administrative costs,
  • cancelled events organised by SABOR FEST will be refunded at 100% of the ticket value.

4. Intellectual Property & Music Licensing

SABOR FEST is a registered commercial brand owned and administered by Juan M Sarabia Gutierrez PARACADEMIC.

Where SABOR FEST is organised by third-party organisers, venues, institutions or partners under licence or collaboration agreement, such entities act as the event organisers and are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations and licensing requirements relating to the event.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • public performance rights;
  • copyright and neighbouring rights royalties (including payments due to ZAiKS or equivalent collective management organisations);
  • event permits;
  • health and safety compliance;
  • security and insurance obligations.

The owner of the SABOR FEST brand shall not be liable for any failure by the local organiser to obtain the necessary licences or fulfil the legal obligations associated with the organisation of an event.

5. Programme Changes and Event Cancellation

The organiser reserves the right to:

  • modify the programme,
  • change schedules,
  • replace artists, DJs, instructors or speakers,
  • adjust venue arrangements,
  • cancel or postpone activities due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, weather conditions or force majeure.

Such changes do not automatically entitle participants to compensation beyond applicable ticket refund policies.


6. Photography and Media

By participating in SABOR FEST, attendees acknowledge that photos, video recordings and audiovisual materials may be created during the festival.

The organiser reserves the right to use such materials for:

  • promotional purposes,
  • social media,
  • website content,
  • future marketing and communication related to SABOR FEST and associated projects.

Participants who do not wish to appear in close-up identifiable media may contact the organiser directly.


7. Minors and Family Activities

Minors may attend festival activities.

Children should remain under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Some evening activities and DJ events may not be suitable for young children, even if access is permitted when accompanied by an adult.

Unless otherwise specified, workshops are intended for adult participants.


8. Vendors, Sponsors and External Partners

Separate agreements may apply to:

  • Mercado vendors,
  • sponsors,
  • collaborators,
  • external partners.

The organiser reserves the right to approve or reject participation requests.


9. Website Usage

Users agree not to misuse the SABOR FEST website, including:

  • attempting unauthorised access,
  • distributing harmful software,
  • submitting false or misleading information.

The organiser reserves the right to update website content and functionality at any time.


10. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the SABOR FEST Privacy Policy available on the website.


11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Polish law.

Any disputes arising in connection with SABOR FEST or the use of the website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland.

In case of discrepancies between language versions, the English version shall prevail.
